The benefits of clincial Supervision

Supervision is a central and vital part of clinical practice. It offers a space to explore your experiential, theoretical and practical knowledge to support your practice and development as a practitioner. Here you are invited to develop reflexivity, challening your ability and capacity to reflect on what you need to support your personal and professional development and clinical practice.

  • Clinicians working in clinical settings with adult clients (16+ years).
  • Ethics and complaints.
  • Complex client presentations.
  • Specialist areas of support eg neurodiversity and eating disorders.
  • Professional development in clinical skills and practice.
  • Transpersonal, integrative, humanistic (including CBT, ACT, CAT).
  • UKCP: Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy College.

We focus on the following areas in Supervision:

  • Clinical support, awareness and development.
  • Discussion and exploration of clinical work.
  • Transferential relationships within the psychotherapeutic relationship.
  • Practice in line with ethics and professional standards.
  • A space for reflection and reflexivity.
